Dr. David C. Nast - Director

Dr. Nast is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he received his doctorate in School Psychology. He comes to CCM from Monmouth University where he has been the Director of Disability Services for the past two years. He is past president of NJ AHEAD (New Jersey Association on Higher Education and Disability).

Jane Rufino - Learning Disabilities Specialist

Mrs. Rufino began working at CCM in 2003 as the part-time counselor in the KISMET program and became full-time in 2005.  This grant-funded program ended in 2006, and Jane joined the Horizons staff as Learning Disabilities Specialist.  She has a BA in Music Education from Montclair State University and an MA in Social Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a few courses taken at CCM to complete the undergraduate psychology requirements before beginning her master’s program.   She has also taught psychology as an adjunct at CCM and other area colleges, and taught for 5 years in local public schools.

Linda Matz -- Associate Lab Coordinator

Mrs. Matz began her association with Horizons as a peer tutor while she was a student at CCM; she earned an A.A. degree with high honors in 1992. She went on to receive a B.A. degree in English, graduating summa cum laude, from Caldwell College in 1996. Presently, she is working on her thesis for an M.A. in Liberal Studies at Caldwell.

Laurie Quinn, Secretary

Mrs. Quinn joined the Horizons staff in 1999. As a former CCM music student, she felt right at home and was able to help students navigate the system right from the start.
