Adapted testing is available to Horizons students at both the Basic and Enhanced levels. The purpose of adapted testing is to level the playing field for students with disabilities by allowing them to take their tests using the accommodations to which they are entitled.
Students must follow proper procedures, scheduling the test with their professors (and CASE if appropriate) in advance allowing reasonable time for arrangements to be made. CASE facilities (if needed) are available throughout the semester during regularly scheduled testing hours. It is important to follow the Guidelines (PDF) for taking tests in CASE. Since several steps are involved, students should pick up an Adapted Testing Request Form from CASE at least a week in advance.
