Resume assistance is available in the form of a print publication, a web-based system, or by personal appointment. Feel more confident when you interview. A publication to assist you in preparing for an interview, The Interview, is available on-line or in the Office of Career Services. Optimal Interview, an interacitve online system to practice your interviewing skills, is available to CCM students and alumni. You can record and save practice interviews, as well as get tips on how to answer interview questions. Access code for alumni: world. A face-to-face practice interview is also available by appointment. Graduate resumes can be posted on the office's online resume site. Users may choose to post limited contact information. Individual employment concerns can be discussed one-on-one with an employment counselor by appointment.

Please note
Graduates are encouraged to develop strong cover letters to accompany their resumes and to send them in the manner requested by the employer. Optimal Letter, an online system available to CCM graduates, can help you develop an effective cover letter. Office staff may also forward a resume to an employer on behalf of a registrant at their consent. The employer generally contacts the job seeker directly, so it is strongly recommended that an e-mail address be included on your resume as well as a professional message left on the answering machine connected to your contact phone number. Graduates are expected to demonstrate a personal commitment to the job search as well as notifying the office once employment has been secured. Every few months the office will mail a reminder to all JobMatch registrants asking if they wish to continue using the service. A reply is requested to remain active in the program.
