Professor Bunty started her career as a graduate of Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing and Union County College. She worked as a critical care nurse in the Intensive Care Unit setting for 15 years, before transitioning into Post Anesthesia Care Nursing, where she is nationally certified. She returned to school and earned her BSN from University of Delaware and her MSN from Drexel University. Additionally, Professor Bunty earned a Post Bachelor’s Certificate in Nursing Education and Faculty Roles from Drexel University.

 
Her career has spanned more than 30 years in the clinical area prior to entering academia six years ago. She is pleased to be a part of County College of Morris since fall of 2011 as a full time faculty member in the Nursing Department. She has a passion for education and has written an article entitled “Healthy Competition: Using games as teaching tools motivates students and encourages critical thinking.”

She is a member of the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses, the National League for Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau. She currently works per-diem in both an acute care hospital Post Anesthesia Care Unit and an Ambulatory Care Unit in order to maintain her clinical skills.
