Professor Leo-Felix Jurado is an educator, administrator, advanced practice nurse, community leader and an advocate for the profession. He has been a nurse for more than two decades wearing multiple roles. He has taught in associate and baccalaureate nursing programs and held adjunct faculty positions at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rutgers University and Passaic County Community College. He is also an NCLEX –RN reviewer. He has held positions in Nursing Administration at New Jersey hospitals.

Professor Jurado has written and published several articles in newsletters. He has been invited as a speaker nationally and internationally on topics such as Diversity in Nursing; Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, Nursing Leadership, Critical Thinking, Men in Nursing and other topics related to nursing and cultural diversity.
