John Williford, an Assistant Professor, joined the County College of Morris faculty in 1990. Coming to CCM, he was a college administrator for several years and taught at several four year colleges in New Jersey. In addition to teaching at CCM, Professor Williford is very active throughout the northeast conducting seminars and workshops addressing topics such as:
Communication and Conflict Resolution

Cross-Cultural Sensitivity in the Workplace, Parenting Adolescence

Removing Shame and Anger from Self
.
Pursuing his interest in theology and psychology, he completed a double major in Counseling Psychology and Biblical Literature at the Northeastern Bible College. In 1987 he received a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Childhood Psychopathology. Currently, he is completing studies towards a doctoral degree with a focus in Psychoanalysis. He is an active member of the American Psychological Association.
