You can wait for your acceptance letter in the mail or check your application status online. That will tell you if you need to take a placement test. If your status says Ready to Register, then you don’t have to take a placement test and you can wait for your new student registration packet in the mail. Otherwise, your online application status and your acceptance letter will have further instructions.
While we encourage you to hold onto your acceptance letter, we realize that mistakes do happen. If you misplace your acceptance letter, just come to the Admissions Office before your test and we'll print a letter for you to take to your test.
After you take your placement test, you will be mailed the results of the test and be eligible for new student registration. You will then be mailed a new student registration packet by the Academic Advisement Office, containing information on how to schedule an appointment for a new student advisement and registration session.
You should receive your new student registration packet within a few weeks of taking your placement test. If it's been longer than that, please contact Records and Registration at 973-328-5200 to email@example.com.
The Admissions Office does not handle registration, be it online or in-person. You need to contact Records and Registration at 973-328-5200 to firstname.lastname@example.org and they'll help clear up any issue you may be having.

If you've attended before and completed classes for a letter grade, you never have to apply again. You should be able to just register for classes.
If it's been more than a year since the last time you applied, you would have to apply and pay the application fee again. If it's been less than a year, you wouldn't have to pay the application fee. The easiest way to do this would be to fax in the PDF application. Our fax number is 973-328-5199.
