Writing Center


The Writing Center provides aid to students in need of assistance in their courses. Each tutor in the Center is a full-time faculty member of the English Department. Tutors identify writing problems, provide instruction in theory, and offer practice for written improvement. Tutors can offer pre-paper and post-paper consultations. The Center is fully equipped with a computer lab and also offers instructional videos and computer software.  The Writing Center is located in DeMare Hall, room DH 156.  Details of operational hours and scheduling appointments to follow.

TO SCHEDULE WRITING CENTER TUTORIAL SESSIONS
 
All Writing Skills students are strongly encouraged to attend tutorial sessions as part of their remedial course requirements. Sessions are in 10-minute increments, but students needing additional time will be allowed to sign up for two consecutive 10-minute sessions. Writing Skills and other tutorial sessions may be scheduled via the link below.
