Apply for VA Educational Benefits

The Department of Veterans Affairs requires each applicant for VA educational benefits to be formally accepted to an approved curriculum/program of study before initial certification.

Veterans may choose to apply for VA educational benefits with the Veteran’s Affairs Representative, Janique Caffie, Assistant Dean of Student Development and Enrollment Management. The representative will not be able to advise applicants about their specific eligibility for VA benefits. Final determination of eligibility is made by the Education Division of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Appropriate applications may be obtained from the Counseling Office which is located in the Student Community Center, room 118. Veterans are encouraged to utilize the online application. The online application can be obtained at http://vabenefits.vba.va.gov/vonapp/mainasp
