Anyone wishing to post material on campus bulletin boards must bring the
material to the Office of
Campus Life in the Student Center for approval and
for posting. CCM
departments and recognized student clubs and organizations may utilize these boards. Only non-profit
organizations may advertise on campus bulletin boards.
All announcements
and ads must be no larger than 8
1/2" x 11". Approved material is
date stamped
by the Campus Life Office to show the last day of posting.
All material is
to be posted by the Campus Life staff. Unstamped, unapproved material
found on the bulletin boards will be
removed immediately.
Local bus service to the County College of
Morris is supplied by the Morris County Metro, which is operated by Pabco
Transit, Inc. under contract with
NJ
Transit. Check with Pabco for bus stop and schedule information at 973-328-7686. The
Morris County Metro Route that services the college is Route #2. The CCM
bus stop is located in parking lot #6, near the Student
Center's lower level entrance.

Office Information
Window, located in the Student Center. For information on alternate modes
of travel through Northern New Jersey, visit the

website and the Morris County
Department of
Transportation.
Amusement Parks
Discount tickets to
Dorney Park/Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, PA,
Six Flags Great Adventure
in Jackson, NJ,
and
Hershey Park
in
Hershey, Pennsylvania, are available beginning in late April and may be
purchased at the Information
Window. (Cash or check only - no credit/debit cards. All tickets are
non-refundable.)
Skiing/Snowboarding
Ski lift vouchers at a discount rate are available
beginning in December for
Mountain
Creek
Ski Resort at Vernon, NJ. These
discount vouchers may be purchased at the Information Window. In
addition, many ski areas will provide discounts upon presentation of a
valid college identification card. THINK SNOW!
Area Merchants
The Office of Campus Life
has a program in conjunction with many local merchants whereby CCM
students can receive discounts upon presentation of their valid CCM
student identification card. Details of the program and a listing of
participating merchants (and the discount given) can be obtained at the
Campus Life Information
Window.
CCM student identification cards are provided to tuition-paid students
(full-time and part-time).
The photo ID card entitles the bearer to all benefits and privileges the college provides,
including: library use, discounts to campus events, voting privileges in student
elections, CCM parking decal, entrance to CCM sporting events, use of
various athletic facilities (e.g. tennis
courts, swimming pool, fitness center and weight room) and other campus life programs. This card
must be revalidated with a sticker each semester; this can be done at
the Campus Life Information
Window upon proof of tuition payment.
A fee is charged to replace student
identification cards: $5 for the first replacement, $15 for
the next. All students must have their student ID cards in
their possession while on the CCM campus.

The Office of Campus Life's Information
Window's staff provides many
services to the campus community: answering questions, giving directions, selling tickets,
renting videos, issuing Game Room equipment, distributing identification cards, validating
items for bulletin board posting,
and much more. Information about CCM's campus life programs, its many
student clubs and organizations, and how students can get
involved in our many activities may be obtained at the Information
Window.
Lounges
The Student Community Center Lounge is for enjoyment and
relaxation by the college community. Sit back, read the newspaper, study,
chat with friends or just relax by the fireplace.
Student
club and organization presentations and other special programs are periodically
staged in this lounge.
The Student Center also has
a TV Lounge. This has a HD TV with DirecTV satellite programming. Various
channels (ESPN, USA, Food Network, Comedy Central, MSNBC, CNN . . .) are
programmed throughout the day, so stop by and enjoy a break from the
rigors of your class work. Video game tournaments are sometimes held here
as well.
In addition, there is
another lounge located
on campus: the Sheffield Hall Lounge, also referred to as the "A
Lounge" is across from the cafeteria in Cohen Hall.
The Office of Campus Life
holds memberships to the Whitney Museum, the
American
Museum of Natural History, and the
Metropolitan Museum
of Art. Students wishing to gain free
admission to any of the above museums must come to the Information
Window with their valid CCM student identification card. Passes are
issued on a first come, first served basis for a one day or one weekend
period.
This service is also
available to other members of the CCM community: staff, faculty members
and alumni (with valid identification).
On specified Saturday afternoons throughout the year, the Planetarium
(located in Cohen Hall - B Building) presents programs for the public.

Reservations for the shows can be made through the Office of Campus
Life, by calling the Planetarium Reservationist at 973-328-5076, Monday
through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
The
CLU: Campus Life Update
is published by the
Office of
Campus Life
every other Wednesday during the academic year (Sept. -
May).
The CLU is designed to keep the campus
community "CLUed into" what is happening at CCM. It features information
about upcoming trips,
student club and organization activities, information
about upcoming performing arts productions, the CCM Titan athletic schedule,
and much more. Check it out.
The CCM
student handbook
is
compiled and published on a semester-by-semester basis by the Office of
Campus Life. The handbook contains many of the colleges regulations as they
pertain to students and is a resource for the colleges services and offices.
Students are encouraged to use it for a quick and easy reference as needed.
This publication is distributed throughout campus the first few weeks of
every semester. It is also available at the Campus Life Information Window.
The Student/Community Center
is the "living room" of the CCM campus. The SCC houses the college bookstore
along with enrollment services offices (Admissions, Financial Aid, Records
& Registration, Academic Advisement), and the Bursar's (pay your CCM bills
here) Office.
Also located in the Student
Center are the
Office of
Campus Life, student clubs offices, student
lounges (one with a fireplace), a game room (table tennis, foosball, chess
. . .), a television lounge, the
Vice President for Student Development
and Enrollment Management office, a food service area and cafeteria,
Counseling Services, and the Women's Center. The Dragonetti Auditorium,
the primary performing arts and special events venue at CCM, has undergone an extensive
renovation and is now open.
The offices of the following
student organizations are located
in the lower level of the Student Center: Student
Government Association, Student Activities Programming Board, International Students Club,
Phi Theta Kappa
(CCM's honor society), the Campus Christian Fellowship, CCM Ambassadors,
and the
Youngtown Edition (the CCM student newspaper).
There is a general club and organization area, housing facilities for
CCM's other clubs, located in the lower level of the Student Center (Room 125).
WCCM, the student radio station, has its offices and
broadcast studio located in the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center (library), Room
LRC 210.
Student leaders often hold office hours, so stop by the offices, meet your campus

Tickets for various trips and on-campus events may be purchased by
students at the Information Window prior to the event.
This includes tickets for the trips sponsored by the Campus
Life Office (Broadway show trips, excursions into New York City:
museums, the Bronx Zoo, holiday shows, sporting events: Mets, Nets, Yankees, etc.),
and field
trips co-sponsored by academic departments and the Campus Life Office (Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, Wall Street,
NYC Museums).
Tickets for CCM Special Events and Performing Arts productions (musicals,
dramas, films, lectures, family performing arts presentations, etc.) are
also sold in advance at the Student Center's Info Window. Visit the CCM

For certain bus excursions, a limited number of tickets may be purchased
upon presentation of a valid CCM ID card and another form of identification. These student
tickets are usually discounted over the actual cost of the show ticket, bus, etc. The
student must show the valid CCM ID card when using the discounted ticket.
"Two-for-the-price-of-one" discount coupons are available for
many current Broadway shows and some off-Broadway shows. You may pick up these show
discount coupons in the Campus Life Office and exchange the so-called "TWOFER" at the
corresponding theater's Box Office or by mailing it in to the theater (directions on how
to use the coupon are printed on it). The choice of tickets available, which are provided
by the shows themselves, change regularly so stop by periodically to see
what's available.
A wide selection of videocassette
and DVD movies featuring current hits, family entertainment, cartoons,
instructional videos, animated features, and film classics is available
for rent at the Campus Life Information Window. New selections are added
continually as they become available. Rental fee is just $1 overnight and
weekends (rent on Friday; return on Monday). For every four rentals,
receive the fifth rental free.
A $2 per day late fee is
charged if the selection is not returned when due. Check
