Tuesday, September 2 -  "CCM's Fortieth Anniversary Dedication." County College of Morris begins its 40th year of providing the community with quality, affordable education. To honor this important milestone  a memorial tree will be planted and dedicated outside the Learning Resource Center. Location: Outside lawn area near Library. Time: 11:15 a.m.

Wednesday, September 3 - "CLU: Campus Life Update" is published and distributed on campus.

Monday, September 8 - Last day to add a class. Fall 2008 Drop/Add. Time: 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Location: Records and Registration Office, Student/Community Center.

Wednesday, September 10 - "CLU: Campus Life Update" is published and distributed on campus.

Friday, September 12 through October 15 - CCM's Hispanic Heritage Month Flag Display in the Student Community Center Lounge.

Saturday, September 13 – Planetarium Show:  Longer Nights, Brighter Stars 2008. Time: 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.

Monday, September 15 - Last day to drop classes without academic grade.

Monday, September 15 - CCM Student Club Advisors' Luncheon. Time: 12 p.m.. Location: Student/Community Center Davidson Room. Sponsored by the Office of Campus Life.

Tuesday, September 16 - CCM "Job Fair" with over 30 employer representatives on campus. Time: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Location: SCC Davidson Room. Sponsored by the Office of Career Services.

Wednesday, September 17 - CCM's Constitution Day Films: United States Constitution & United States Bill of Rights. Shown continuously throughout the day. Location: Student Community Center Lounge.

Wednesday, September 17 - CCM's Student Newspaper - The Youngtown Edition - is published. 

Thursday, September 18 - CCM's Constitution Day Panel Discussion: "Is the U.S. Constitution Still Working?" Brief presentations will be made by a panel of three CCM faculty, followed by an audience "show of hands" (Yes or No) in response to "Is the U.S. Constitution Still Working?", with several students from each side, then asked by the moderator to briefly explain why, with reactions by the panel members. The panel will also take any questions that students or other members of the audience have. Time: 11:30 a.m. Location: Student/Community Center Davidson Room. Sponsored by the Office of Campus Life and the CCM History/Political Science Department.

Saturday, September 20 - moe-tion Dance Theater will present Woman I’s, a full evening concert celebrating women. The company will perform an evening of new pieces and revive some past ones. The performance is sponsored by the County College of Morris Dance Club. Time: 7:30 p.m. Location: Student Community Center Dragonetti Auditorium. Tickets are available at the Office of Campus Life Information Window: $20 general admission and $15 for students and seniors.

Monday, September 22 - Table Tennis Tournament. Double elimination format. Free: come play or just watch. Sign up at the SCC Information Window. Winners are eligible to participate in the ACUI Regional Tournament  in February 2009.  Time: 2 p.m. (warm-ups); 2:30 p.m. (play begins).  Location: SCC Game Room and Davidson Room. Sponsored by the Office of Campus Life.

Tuesday, September 23 - CCM’s Welcome Back Bash & Student Organization Fair. This is your opportunity to find out about all the wonderful things our clubs and organizations do. The Bash will be taking place outside, on the plaza between the Masten Library and the Student Center,  from 11 am to 3 pm (Rain site: inside the Student Center). Stop by and grab a bite to eat, have some fun and pick up some helpful information on extracurricular opportunities at the County College of Morris. Sponsored by the Office of Campus Life.

Monday, September 29 - CCM's 40th Anniversary Kick Off Celebration. The celebration will open with a keynote address by former governor and honorary chairman Thomas Kean. The topic is "1968 - 2008: Forty Years That Changed Education, New Jersey and the World". His address will be followed by a panel discussion with founding faculty and administrators, Sara Pfaffenroth, George Dragonetti, Pat Biesty and Tim Patschke. Time: 11:30 a.m.  Location: Student Center Auditorium. Admission is free.

Tuesday, September 30 - Tickets go on sale for the Thursday, October 23 CCM Broadway Show Bus Trip to "The Little Mermaid" at the Lunt-Fontaine Theatre. Bus Leaves CCM at 4:30 p.m. for 8:00 p.m. show. Tickets: $60 CCM Students; $65 Guest. Includes dress circle seats and roundtrip chartered bus transportation. On sale at the Campus Life Information Window, Student Center Lobby. Sponsored by the Office of Campus Life, 973-328-5225.
