Student Clubs and Organizations

Student clubs and organizations at the County College of Morris form a nucleus of co-curricular activity where leadership and life skills are learned and refined in and out of classroom settings. Through leadership training and hands-on experience, County College of Morris students can learn various skills including decision making, planning and implementation, financial management, communication and interpersonal skills, risk taking, delegation, initiative, time-management, and the art of compromise.

Through participation in various academic, cultural, athletic, social, governance, or recreational organizations students have the opportunity for self-exploration and the development of relationships with other segments of the campus community: students, staff members, administrators and faculty members.

Students at CCM are encouraged to join existing organizations or to form new organizations that promote their common interests. There are few restrictions involved in forming student clubs. All that is necessary is ten other interested students, a CCM faculty or staff member to serve as the advisor, and the completion of the necessary paperwork.

An organization must be officially recognized by the Student Government Association and the College prior to requesting and utilizing College facilities for activity purposes.
