The staff at the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) is tasked to support faculty and staff on their professional learning.  We provide support and resources regarding teaching (pedagogy and andragogy) and learning.  We also provide support and resources on effective technology implementation into the classroom.  Below is our mission statement:

The mission of the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) at County College of Morris is to facilitate teaching-learning excellence and academic scholarship through:
  • Facilitating an atmosphere of collaboration, camaraderie, and scholarship 
  • Encouraging and supporting professional learning in one’s academic and/or professional field
  • Developing and facilitating workshops and programs to enhance teaching and learning processes 
  • Assisting in the evolution of course design and delivery in multiple learning modalities (traditional, online, and hybrid)  
  • Fostering and supporting effective and innovative teaching and learning strategies
  • Using relevant technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Recognizing peer excellence
