CAD
Certificate (1 Year Program)
Graduates
of this program are prepared for employment as
electro-mechanical drafters. Many graduates
also find employment in the areas of
architectural drafting, civil drafting and
site planning. They often work in the drafting
design, development and graphical
documentation. CAD drafters must often utilize
the practical application of engineering
knowledge. Career opportunities center around
production, development and editing of
computer-aided drawings and involves the use
of modern software and hardware. This program
emphasizes the most up-to-date AutoCAD
software, including 3D applications (advanced
classes) .
For
students seeking an Associates Degree, the CAD
program will transfer into the CCM Mechanical
Engineering Technology program. Please see
