Graduates
of this program are prepared for employment as
engineering technicians. They often work in
the design, development, production and
testing of electronic components. Job
activities center on technical problem solving
and the practical application of engineering
knowledge. Career opportunities include
electronic design, product and component
testing, manufacturing supervision, quality
assurance, cost estimating and technical
sales.

For
students seeking a Bachelors Degree,
articulation agreements for this program allow
students full transfer of credits to many
four-year institutions. These institutions
include, New Jersey Institute of Technology,
Rochester Institute of Technology, State
University of New York-Rome-Utica and The
College of New Jersey (Note: transfer to The
College of New Jersey allows students to enter
the teacher education program and earn a NJ
State Teaching Certificate in Technology
Education). Due to TAC/ABET accreditation of
the program, graduates have successfully
transferred to many other schools throughout
the United States.
