The Electronics Engineering Technology program at County College of Morris produces graduates that are employed and operate effectively in positions that lie between those of the skilled craftsperson and those of the graduate electrical engineer. We also produce graduates that can successfully transfer and complete a baccalaureate degree program in electronics engineering technology.

 

Outcomes established for the program are:

 

·        Mastery of the knowledge, techniques, skills, and modern tools of their discipline as  they relate to:

a.    The application of circuit analysis and design, computer programming, associated software, analog and digital electronics and microcomputers to the building, testing, operation, and maintenance of electronic systems.

b.    The rigorous application of science and math in the solving of electrical and electronic problems.

·        Ability to conduct, analyze, and interpret experiments, and apply results to improve processes.

·        Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems.

·        Ability to apply current knowledge, and adapt to emerging applications of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology.

·        Ability to apply creativity when solving problems.

·        Ability to function effectively on teams.

·        Ability to communicate effectively.
