Associates
in Applied Science (2 Year Degree)
Graduates
of this program are prepared for employment as
electro-mechanical technicians and
technologists. They often work in the design,
development, production and testing of
electro-mechanical components. Job activities
center on technical problem solving and the
practical application of engineering
knowledge. Career opportunities include
electro-mechanical design, product and
component testing, manufacturing supervision,
quality assurance, cost estimating and
technical sales.
For
students seeking a Bachelors Degree,
Mechatronics may transfer to many four-year
institutions with engineering technology
