Associates in Applied Science (2 Year Degree)

Graduates of this program are prepared for employment in the rapidly growing field of telecommunications. They work in job activities that involve planning and monitoring network layouts and installations. Work may also involve integrating sophisticated technology into products, systems and services.

Students may choose between the standard Telecommunication AAS program (Code 3650) and a Networking option AAS program (Code 3651). The department also offers a 7 credit "Basic Telecommunications Fundamentals" career certificate and a 12 credit "Systems Networking" career certificate.

For students seeking a Bachelors Degree, transfer is possible to many four year schools having similar programs. Articulation agreements for this program allow students to have full transfer of credits to a number of institutions, including Rochester Institute of Technology and the State University of New York-Rome-Utica.

The County College of Morris is also offering a  Cisco Certification Program. Students interested in this program should contact Prof. Joanna Stoskus (ph # 973-328-5769)
