I am graduating but do not know where to report, where do I go?

Information can be found at www.ccm.edu/graduation/gradinstructions.aspx.

How do I know if I am eligible to graduate?

Records and Registration will officially notify (via CCM email) any May 2017 candidates who will not be certified to graduate in May based on the final audit of your record. If for some reason you are not certified for May, you will be able to apply for August 2017 graduation and your graduation fee will be rolled over.

I am graduating with honors/merit, where do I get my stole?

Honor Society stoles (PTK and ABG) were handed out at induction ceremonies. If you did not attend, please contact the Office of Campus Life at 973-328-5225 to pick up your stole. If you have lost yours, contact the Office of Campus Life at 973-328-5225 to purchase another.

Honors and merit regalia will be distributed on-site. The honors stole is yours to keep.

Do I have to pay for a cap and gown?

There is no fee for your cap and gown, which are yours to keep.

How many guests can I invite?

Each graduate may request up to four tickets for commencement. The tickets will be issued at cap and gown pickup at the Campus Store.

Please note that the invitation you received in the mail is not a ticket. Accommodated seating requires a commencement ticket for each guest.

I received an invitation to Commencement. Does this mean I am definitely graduating?

A letter is being sent to all potential graduates for May 2017, graduates from January 2017 and August 2016 and potential graduates for August 2017 who have been approved to participate in the commencement ceremony. The Office of Records and Registration will officially notify (via CCM email) any May 2017 candidates who will not be certified to graduate in May based on the final audit of their record. If for some reason you are not certified for May, you will be able to apply for August 2017 graduation and your graduation fee will be rolled over.
