The
Horticultural Apprentice Program received approval this year and the County
College of Morris has been identified as one of the educational providers
for this exciting program. The Apprenticeship Program encompasses three
apprentice options: Landscape Management Technician, Landscape Technician,
and Horticulturalist. Contact Professor Jan-Marie Traynor or your local
apprentice coordinator for more information.
On June 1st, 2003, The Agricultural Technology
Program name was officially changed to Landscape and Horticultural Technology Program.
The new name reflects more accurately the focus of the program in
Ornamental Horticulture, landscaping, and related careers.
OPEN
HOUSE PLANNED
The 2003 Summer Open House will
be held on August 5th, from 3 pm until 8 pm. This will be a great
opportunity to meet the faculty and tour the facility.
In May, 2003
The County College of Morris and Sussex County Community College entered
into a Letter of Agreement concerning the Landscape and Horticultural
Technology Program. This agreement will make it even easier for Sussex
County residents to take advantage of the courses and program offered in
Landscape and Horticultural Technology
