Everybody gets experience using all the equipment
including this skid-steer loader . Learn how to use Case 1838 and all the
attachments: the auger (to make those planting jobs go faster), the four-in-one-bucket
(making picking up large rocks a snap), the rockhound (to eat up stones in lawn areas),
and more. |

The facility includes a state of the art computer lab, a fully operational
shop, and three greenhouses.
Plans are being
developed for a new addition which will feature even more high tech capabilities and
provide the ability to accommodate larger groups for classes and meetings.

The Agricultural Technology
Greenhouses - all three of them - are filled with annual
and perennial plants, all grown by students in the Plant Science
II class.

Students learn to apply classroom
instruction with hands-on experiences around the Ag Tech Building. Installation of
paved walks, construction of walls, design and planting of gardens are all lab activities.
Students in Landscape Design visit real homes to measurements, take pictures, and gather site
analysis information. The focus throughout the program is to learn by doing. |
