Established in 1980, the Landscape and Horticultural Technology Program (formerly the Agricultural Technology Program) offers students many opportunities in horticulture and landscape related professions. Strong relationships with leading industry associations including the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association, the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association, and the Association of Professional Landscape Designers insure that courses are designed to meet the needs of the aspiring professional.

Most of the Ag Tech students are also busy with jobs where they get to apply all they have learned in school to the real world.

Students in AGR 112:  Plant Science II learned about greenhouse production by doing it-  these are just some of the plants produced this spring.

Lavender thrived in last season's drought. Begonias bloomed in the Program's greenhouses.

The geraniums were grown from plugs, while the fuchsia hanging baskets were grown from cuttings.

These beautiful impatiens were all grown from plugs.
