  • Most tutoring takes the form of "help sessions" conducted by faculty and professional staff in individual or small-group sessions.
  • Sessions are arranged on a week-by-week basis.
  • To request tutoring, the student must submit a Tutoring Request form to the Tutoring Coordinator.
Horizons is part of CASE and provides support services to students with learning disabilities.
  • Basic -- The services provided at this level comply with the non-discrimination requirements of the laws applicable at the post-secondary level:
    • Americans with Disabilities Act
    • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Enhanced -- In addition to meeting the legal requirements, students with learning disabilities accepted at this level, receive a multitude of additional opportunities for support to help them successfully meet the challenges of college work
