CCM at Headquarters Plaza is a coeducational,
publicly supported community college offering professional, liberal arts and
technical certificates, as well as continuing education programs. CCM at
Headquarters Plaza prides itself in its excellent teaching, new state-of
the-art classrooms, its extraordinary commitment to meeting the needs of
students at every stage of life, and ongoing service to the community.
The new vision and focus will provide the Morristown area with more access
to, higher education courses and training in the areas of technology, health
care, business and English proficiency. The college also plans to forge more
partnerships among the various cultural and corporate communities in the
area.
Among the partnerships currently formed
are:
- The Verizon sponsored Literacy Program, a
training program for literacy volunteers
- The GED Program in cooperation with the
Morris County School of Technology
- Sales Training Programs
- An ESL program co-sponsored with the
Hispanic Institute
- Rutgers MBA Program
- Self-Employment Assistance Program (SEA)
in co-operation with the NJ Department of Labor
Morristown, the county seat, transportation
hub, and economic and multicultural center of Morris County now has access
to a full service, state of the art facility offering easy, flexible, and
innovative access and distribution of the tremendous resources available at
CCM.
The new expanded facility will provide
educational course and training opportunities for traditional CCM students,
adults, career professionals, local businesses, municipal and county
government, and secondary school districts alike, expanding access to higher
education, career training, and cultural understanding.
