This program is structured to allow small business owners the flexibility to complete a comprehensive business development program curriculum at their own pace, on a course-by-course basis. This is a state-wide program offered by several community colleges’ using a standardized curriculum to ensure quality-control. However, the curriculum also has built-in flexibility and could change incrementally from county-to-county College. The courses and workshops offered will familiarize entrepreneurs and small business owners with business plans, legal issues, marketing strategies, financial statements, small business taxes, and small business record-keeping systems.
