DEPARTMENT:       Academic Affairs - Youth Programming

 

DESCRIPTION:        County College of Morris is seeking energetic, experienced instructors for Gifted and Talented courses in the sciences, humanities, visual arts, and performing arts.  Instructors are responsible for providing quality academic instruction, as well as creating an enjoyable, productive and meaningful educational experience for their students. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Master's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred; a minimum of three years teaching experience, a strong committment to gifted education, knowledge of best classroom practices for gifted students, strong interpersonal and organizational skills; sensitivity to the needs of young people; a manner that reflects the highest professional standards. 

                                   

HOURS:                     Instructors may teach 1-2 courses per session.  Fall session will run Saturdays, October 6th - December 15th, 10am-12pm                                      and 12:15pm - 2:15pm

                                   

SALARY:                   Commensurate
