POSITION:                    TEMPORARY Part - Time SAT Preparation Instructor

DEPARTMENT:       Academic Affairs - Youth Programs

DESCRIPTION:        County College of Morris aims to offer the most accessible and highest quality SAT preparation class.  We are seeking outstanding educators who can teach strategies to college-bound students while building confidence and self-esteem.  Key to every CCM service is the professional educator -- motivated, inspirational, effective, creative and engaging.  Ideal candidates will possess outstanding communication skills, knowledge of the SAT and extensive test taking strategies, ability to teach Math and Verbal/Writing sections, ability to develop a rapport with and motivate students, thorough and organized record keeping, punctual and professional.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year accredited university along with one year of classroom experience required.  Master's Degree or Teaching Certificate preferred along with experience teaching SAT prep classes and/or completion of a professional Test Prep Training Program and five years of classroom instruction.  Candidates must be experienced and comfortable working with middle and high school aged students.

HOURS:                     Flexible

SALARY:                   Commensurate
