Joe Bilotti is Associate Professor of Music at County College of Morris, teaching advanced music theory, applied piano instruction, and a unique course on the history of rock & roll and pop culture (Rock History & Culture). He is a graduate of CCM and went on to earn Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees in classical piano performance from Montclair State University, studying piano under Dr. Ruth Rendleman and Dr. John Gorman. In addition he also received coaching from Edmund Battersby and Murray Present at that institution.Both an accomplished pianist and guitarist Joe has performed in a number of touring music groups including the “classic rock” styled Heart of Gold Band and the “rock fusion” group Eastern Potāta featuring his original compositions.

Another of his long standing projects, The Soft Parade: Tribute to the Doors, recreats the atmosphere of a legendary Doors concert from the 1960s and has garnered international recognition playing for audiences in Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic, Panama as well as the United States at the acclaimed Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Hippie Fest and countless other stateside venues.
