ASK A LIBRARIAN (ONLINE REFERENCE SERVICE)

Ask a Librarian provides online reference service to our patrons. Librarians are available during the hours specified for a live chat session. Inquiries through email will be answered as promptly as possible.

Students, faculty, and staff will be prompted to enter a username and password when accessing the service. This information is the same as that used to login to the CCM e-mail system.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS

For full functionality of the Ask a Librarian service, the following computer requirements must be met:

- PC platform is desired, Mac users will have some limitations

- Operating System: Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 or XP

- Browser: Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.x is preferred, Netscape users will have limited services

- JavaScript must be enabled

- Pop-up Blockers must be disengaged
