FAQs
The following are designed to provide information to frequently asked questions about library issues in the Learning Resource Center. Further information is available by calling 973-328-5296.
What is the policy on borrowing materials? Borrowing policies vary by material. Most materials may be borrowed for 28 days. Items such as video tapes, reserve materials, and other media will have loan periods that vary from 3 hours to 4 weeks. Books may be returned at the front desk or in the book drop. Video tapes and sensitive materials should be returned in person, not in the book drop. For more information, please see Circulation Policies.
What kind of computer resources are available for public use? Computers are located throughout the library. The library catalog, Internet, Microsoft Office, and electronic databases are available on all computers. Patrons are asked to limit their time to 30 minutes when others are waiting. Wireless access is also available for members of the CCM community using wireless ready laptops. For more information, please see Computers & Technology.
What are the hours of the library? The library's hours are the same as the LRC. These hours may vary by semester. For more information, please see LRC Hours.
Where can a library card be obtained? Students, faculty, and staff should bring in their CCM photo id to have a library barcode number attached, which will serve as a library card. Alumni of CCM should contact the Alumni Office for an id card, which then can be brought to the library. Patrons who live in Morris County may use their local public library card in the CCM library. For more information, please see Circulation Policies.
Where are photocopiers located? Copiers are available on the lower and upper level of the library. A scanner is also available on the second floor of the library.
