FOUNDATION CENTER COLLECTION
The Learning Resource Center of CCM is a designated Cooperating Collection site of the Foundation Center. The library offers a wide variety of grant materials in both print and non-print format. Assistance is available in how to research and the use of materials. Online workshops are also offered periodically through CCM's Corporate & Community Programs.
THE FOUNDATION CENTER The Foundation Center is located at 79 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. As a Cooperating Collection Center, CCM is a designated recipient of the Foundation Center's core collection of reference materials.
FOUNDATION MATERIALS

The majority of the foundation research materials in the library are shelved in a special collection in the reference area. They are arranged by call numbers in the stacks at the beginning of the reference collection. The materials fall into the following categories:

Indexes to Grants by Subject

Information on Grants to Individuals

Materials on Proposal Writing

Resources on Corporate Giving

Resources on Scholarships and Grants

Sources of Government Funding

ONLINE SOURCES:

The Foundation Directory Online contains full-text grant and foundation searching and is available only from the computers in the library.

PERIODICALS:

A wide variety of periodicals are available in microform, print and electronic format. Grant topics may be searched in periodical indexes through the library's Use a Database feature.

RESEARCH & MATERIALS ASSISTANCE

A librarian is available to assist patrons in the use of materials pertaining to foundation and grants research. In depth assistance is available on an individual basis by appointment only. To set up an appointment, please call 973-328-5296.
