AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE

Audiovisual Equipment is available for faculty use in the classroom from the Audiovisual Department in B135. Faculty members may call 5275 for equipment requests and setup as well as assistance problems.

EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

The Media Center can provide support to CCM faculty and staff in identifying and recommending equipment for purchase in your department. A staff member can also provide training on media related equipment for use in your class or for use in specific projects. Please call ext. 5290 to schedule an appointment to discuss your needs and budget for equipment you are interested in purchasing.

INTERACTIVE CLASSROOMS FOR VIDEO & AUDIO CONFERENCING

CCM is equipped with two state of the art Multimedia Equipped Classrooms located in B111 (Cohen Hall) and D204 (Emeriti Hall). These rooms are available for faculty use by reservation only. Media Center staff is available for set up of equipment as well as hardware and software support.

ROOM B111:

This room supports two videoconferencing formats, H.264 and H.323, with the capacity to handle up to four participating sites. The room also contains 32 student computers and one instructor computer for interactive use. Also available is a document camera, a VCR player/recorder, and a black and white printer.

ROOM D204:

This room supports videoconferencing in H.323 format. With one large rear projection television and one large plasma TV screen with a SmartBoard overlay, up to four sites can participate and be viewed comfortably. The room seats approximately 20 people and includes one instructor computer and a document camera.
