INTERACTIVE CLASSROOMS
CCM is equipped with two state of the art media equipped classrooms. They are located in B111 (Cohen Hall) and D204 (Emeriti Hall). Rooms are available by reservation only.

B111 Cohen Hall

This state of the art computer equipped classroom was renovated in 2005. The room is outfitted with 33 Dell computers for classroom use accommodating up to 32 students and 1 instructor.

HARDWARE

Video conferencing equipment with eight televisions and two stationary cameras is available for multi-site ITV. A hands-free conference phone is also available for audio conferencing.  Other equipment includes: black and white printer, projector, laptop computer display equipment, microphones, VCR, black board, white board, bulletin board, and fax machine.  For further specifications, see the B111 Technical Specifications Sheet.

SOFTWARE

All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office 2003 Professional edition and current plug-ins. SynchronEyes is available for classroom management and presentation.  Other software include math and language packages.  For further specifications, see the B111 Technical Specifications Sheet.

RESERVATIONS

This room may be reserved by CCM faculty/staff members only. Reservation may be made by calling ext. 5080. Technical and equipment support is available through the Media Center at ext. 5290.

D204  Emeriti Hall

This state of the art room allows for videoconferencing with multiple sites. The room has seating for approximately 20 people and one instructor.

HARDWARE

With one large rear projection television and one large plasma TV screen with a SmartBoard overlay, up to four sites can participate and be viewed comfortably. An instructor station and document camera are also available. For further information, see the D204 Technical Specifications Sheet.
