SCORE® and CCM are dedicated to educating small business entrepreneurs in Morris County. SCORE Counselors to Americas Small Business is a non-profit association dedicated to the formation growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Together with volunteers of working and retired executives and business owners we have created a program that includes free expert business advisement and affordable formal business development training. Under the auspices of the National SCORE Organization Chapter 24 is committed to supporting the development and growth of small business through counseling and education activities.

CCM and SCORE have partnered to offer a quality and affordable educational tools to the community along with support to entrepreneurs to help them advance their careers and grow their businesses.

SCORE appointments held at the County College of Morris Morristown are conducted every Tuesday from 9:00am-12:00pm and the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00pm-9:00pm in one hour blocks. YouTube & You-Creating Videos to Market Your Business

QuickBooks for Small Businesses

He brings over thirty years of government contracting experience.

SBAs Small Business Procurement Programs – The Federal Government purchases billions of dollars in goods and services each year. This workshop will cover the various types of federal small business procurement programs and how your small business can get its share of the federal government contract dollar. The various small businesses contracting preference program will be discussed as well as how to register with the government & find federal contract opportunities.
 

Develop a Business Plan for New and Existing Businesses

The business model is designed as a guideline both for businesses who contemplate establishing a business and for those already in business. Most business plans are the direct result of requests from lending institutions. The business plan can also be very valuable for companies who are already in business. The plan is requested when additional capital for on-going operations is sought and when business wishes to evaluate their position in their market and for historical performance of the company. Things to avoid will be discussed. Additionally business ratios will also be discussed in order to acquaint the entrepreneur with some of the major ratios that others may use to evaluate his or her business. Regardless of how much time has been spent constructing your business plan it will be of no value unless you use it.
