Scottie Teschner's latest projects have been working with a fixed shape, a circle, to create organic forms and patterns. There is often an interplay between positive and negative space. The resulting bowls can be used decoratively or more sculptural as wall hangings. Scottie lives and creates in North Jersey.
Jane Cullinan is an art teacher in an alternative high school in New York City. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she received her B.S. in art education from The Pennsylvania State University. She moved to New York City where she worked as a teacher while completing a Masters Degree in Communications Design at Pratt Institute. The plan was to become an illustrator, but teaching drew her in and she has been teaching now for almost thirty two years.
Jane started taking classes at County College of Morris for sabbatical study and then for her own enjoyment. Here, an old interest in ceramics reasserted itself and though she likes to try many techniques, she love to meld her interests in illustration and patterns with her pots. This is her first exhibition.
