Several New Certficate Offerings This Year - Posted 8/13/14
The Corporate and Community Programs division at County College of Morris has released its Fall Continuing Education Catalog of career, professional development and adult enrichment classes on the college’s website at www.ccm.edu/businesscommunity.

This fall’s offerings include more than 25 career and professional development certificate and certification programs. New this year is the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Certified Professional certification program and a Microsoft Project 2010–MCP preparation program.

In addition, the Human Resources Professional Certification has been completely revamped to meet the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) 2013 standards and knowledge requirements. Also updated is the Certificate in Project Management which meets the Project Management Institute (PMI) 2013 PEMBOK guide and standards.

Growing in popularity is the New Pathways to Teaching in New Jersey program which prepares candidates for the alternate route to New Jersey teacher certification. This fall, the college will hold the Introduction to Teaching 24-Hour Component. Another very popular program is the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification program. Interested individuals can start that training at any point in the training schedule.

Some certificate programs require a prerequisite with those classes starting the week of September 15. Information sessions for many of the new and popular programs will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4. The information sessions do not require preregistration.

Many classes fill up quickly, so be sure to register early. For registration information, see the catalog at www.ccm.edu/businesscommunity. The print version of the catalog should be arriving in Morris County households the week of August 24.
