The Women’s Center at County College of Morris (CCM) is offering a 12-week program to help women with developing life-enhancing skills while empowering them in a supportive group environment.

“Empowerment!” is an interactive program with engaging techniques that help promote a methodology for positive thinking, a coaching model that offers accountability, and ways to energize personal and professional growth, tap into leadership skills and more. The course is facilitated by its creator, Jeanne Rohach, a certified women’s empowerment coach and consultant.

An information session will be held on Tuesday, February 2, from 10 – 11 a.m. in the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center, Room 106, on CCM’s Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road. The course is limited to 20 women, who will be selected by the Women’s Center at CCM. The program begins on Tuesday, February 23, from 10 a.m. – noon and continues on successive Tuesdays at the same time through May 10. The course is free for those selected for admission.

Rohach has more than a dozen years’ experience creating and facilitating workshops covering a wide range of topics related to self-management and proactive living. She is a graduate of the American Conservatory Theater.

“Jeanne is passionate about helping individuals in transition,” says Melissa Elias, director of the Women’s Center at CCM. “We’re excited to provide this powerful course to the community.”

The Women's Center at CCM is a nonprofit program which provides career counseling and other supportive services. Over the past 25 years, the program has helped thousands of women become economically independent.
