Elections recently were held for the County College of Morris (CCM) Student Government Association (SGA) and Student Activities Programming Board (SAPB) for the upcoming 2013-14 academic year.
Elected to the SGA were Carlos Herrera of Morristown as president, Kelby Clark of Pine Brook as vice president, and Matthew Rommeihs of Madison as treasurer. Elected as senators were Anhelina Mahdzyar of Randolph, Michael Neier of Long Valley, and Jonathan Solondz of Whippany. Nicholas J. Cruz of Towaco, who served as SGA vice president this academic year, will now move into the position of alumni representative on the CCM Board of Trustees.
The SGA provides students with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills as they serve to advance the interests of students at the college and assist with a strong and vibrant student life program.
The SAPB is responsible for developing and implementing campus-wide programs of social, recreational and educational interest to all CCM students. Elected to the SAPB were Nicholas Cirillo of Boonton as president, Samantha Rucko of West Orange as vice president, and Lina Marin De La Rosa of Parsippany as the public relations liaison. Jordan Barth of Randolph was elected to serve on the CCM Judicial Board.
