The County College of Morris (CCM) Foundation has announced that its 2014 Scholarship Golf Outing will be held on Monday, September 15, at the Knoll West Country Club in Parsippany. The event will feature prizes and awards in several golfing categories including the Fifth Annual Corporate Challenge, which is open to companies that register at the Presenting, Ace, Double Eagle or Eagle level.
Last year’s Corporate Challenge winners – Omland Engineering of Cedar Knolls (low gross) and Solix Inc. of Parsippany (low net) – will be returning to defend their championships.
In addition to the corporate awards, the outing also features prizes for CCM alumni players.
“We’re pleased to once again be holding our event at the Knoll West, which has been rated as one of the top public courses in the country,” said Joseph Vitale, president of the CCM Foundation. “Our outing is always a great way to enjoy a round of golf, thank our corporate and individual supporters, and, most importantly, raise funds for our scholarship program.”
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. A cocktail hour, dinner and the awards program will follow.
Individual slots, corporate sponsorships and journal ads are still available. Those interested in taking part in the outing should call the CCM Foundation at 973-328-5060 or visit www.ccm.edu/foundation/golf2014
