CCM Art Students Display and Auction Their Pieces at Art Club Exhibition

Nearly 100 Works on Display in Campus Store
The Art Club of County College of Morris (CCM) is holding an exhibit of various fine art and visual art pieces created by students. The show is located in the CCM Campus Store, Student Community Center, and will run through Friday, April 13.
The show consists of nearly 100 works of art including paintings, photography, pottery and sculpture, which are available for purchase. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Four prizes will be awarded to students participating in the show: Best in Show to Carolina Aguirre of Parsippany, Award of Merit to Hannah Smith of Chester, Honorable Mention to Kelly Cresitello of Long Valley, and the 2012 Scholarship Gala Purchase Award to Nicole Tauriello of Wharton. The artwork created by Tauriello will be purchased by the Art Club and donated to the CCM Foundation for the 2012 Scholarship Gala’s silent auction. The silent auction benefits the scholarship program at CCM. The gala takes place, Friday, April 27, at Dolce Hotels and Resorts in Basking Ridge, starting at 6 p.m. For more information on the gala, visit www.ccm.edu/foundation.
