Professor to Speak on Women’s Suffrage

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the County College of Morris will present “Breeches vs. Petticoats: The Long Contest Over Woman Suffrage,” a talk by Dr. Ann Gordon of Rutgers University. Professor Gordon will speak on Thursday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. in the Reading Room of the Library at CCM. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by CCM’s Department of History, the Center for Teaching Excellence, the Diversity Committee and the college’s Corporate and Community programs.
