CCM and Berkeley College Sign Transfer Agreement for Nine Programs

CCM Graduates Gain Yet another Transfer Opportunity - Posted 2/4/14
County College of Morris (CCM) and Berkeley College recently signed an articulation agreement to ease the transfer process for CCM students seeking a bachelor’s degree in a variety of disciplines.

“As with our other transfer agreements, this new arrangement with Berkeley College offers students a more affordable pathway for earning a bachelor’s degree,” noted Dr. Edward J. Yaw, president of CCM. “We’re pleased to be entering into this agreement with Berkeley, which will ease the transfer process for students in a total of nine academic disciplines.”

“The articulation agreement between Berkeley College and the County College of Morris is an excellent fit because of our shared mission of providing students with degree options that lead to dynamic careers,” said Dr. Dario A. Cortes, president of Berkeley College. “CCM graduates will benefit from Berkeley’s seamless transfer process and may also apply for the Berkeley College Transfer Opportunity Program (T.O.P. Scholars) which provides scholarships to qualifying students.”

The agreement allows eligible students graduating from CCM with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice to enter Berkeley College as juniors with their general-education core requirements fulfilled. Students who meet the requirements will have all of their CCM credits transfer, giving them half of the credits required for the Berkeley bachelor’s degrees included in the agreement.

The agreement provides admissions to Berkeley for qualified CCM graduates seeking the following degrees: Bachelor of Accounting, B.S. Business Administration, B.S. Fashion Marketing and Management, B.S. Financial Services, B.S. Health Services Management, B.S. International Business, B.S. Justice Studies-Criminal Justice, B.S. Management and B.S. Marketing Communications.

Berkeley College has nine locations around the tri-state area, including Clifton, Dover, Newark, Paramus, Woodbridge and Woodland Park, New Jersey; and Midtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and White Plains, New York.
