Karin Lowney-Seed, adjunct professor of fine arts at County College of Morris (CCM), is one of three artists who will have their paintings featured during a month-long exhibition at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.

Several of Lowney-Seed’s works will be on display at the abstract painting show from September 24 to October 24 at the college’s Brownson Gallery. An opening reception will take place Wednesday, September 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the gallery. Lowney-Seed, of Sparta, was invited to take part in the show by Manhattanville studio art professor Alka Mukerji.

“I am excited to be a part of this exhibition,” says Lowney-Seed, who has been teaching at CCM for more than seven years. “I am looking forward to the possibility of showing my work at a future single-artist show next year.”

In addition to teaching Art History II and Contemporary Art History at CCM, Lowney-Seed also owns MyInterior, a high-end interior design firm located in Sparta.

Her paintings will appear with the works of fellow artists Joseph Bostany and Alo Mukerji. The gallery, located on Manattanville’s campus at 2900 Purchase St., Purchase, NY, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
