Passwords Will be Reset and Changeable
Starting January 13, 2014, County College of Morris (CCM) students will be able to log into all five of the accounts they use at the college with the same username and password.
On that date, all students will automatically have their passwords changed to the letters ccm, followed by their seven-digit student identification number. For example, if a student’s ID number is 1234567, that student’s password will become ccm1234567 on January 13.
Once that happens, students are strongly encouraged to change their automatically generated passwords. Passwords must be at least eight characters in length. A web page has been set up at https://www3.ccm.edu:8443 where students can change their passwords.
Student usernames for all systems on campus will be the username that is used to log into WebAdvisor, student email accounts and the CCM wireless network.
The change will allow students to use the same username and password to log into Blackboard, student email, WebAdvisor, the CCM wireless network, and the Learning Resource Center proxy server.
The change to using the same username and password is being made to eliminate the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords to access different CCM accounts.
