Community Service Opportunities

Opportunities are provided both on and off-campus to volunteer using one's interests and skills to benefit others, as well as to gain hands-on experience in an area that may be in line with one's academic major leading to a career. The chance to get the exposure and hands-on experience prior to gainful employment in a position gives the student the chance to build one's self-esteem and, in the process, gets an inside view of what the work environment and responsibilities of the job may actually be. Students are expected to provide 8 hours of community service per semester for the benefit of others.
