If you have lost the support of your spouse due to divorce, disability, death or separation, and now need career assistance, you can meet with a career counselor to determine your eligibility for our programs. They can help you identify your interests and skills, and evaluate your education and job readiness.
Eligible Women's Center clients can evaluate their strengths and areas in need of development by taking the Strong Interest Inventory, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to help them look at themselves. There are also many other decision-making resources the counselors use, so please call 973-328-5025 to make an appointment.
You are also welcome to utilize CCM's online career guidance system,
FOCUS.
Career counselors provide clients with the assistance they need to identify interests, skills, education, job training, and educational/technical programs. Individual assistance and support is provided by way of one-on-one sessions. Referrals, as appropriate, are made to various social services agencies.
