Meet Our Staff

The Staff at the Women's Center is specifically trained to assist clients in achieving their goals. This assistance might be in the form of career counseling, job placement, or legal services.

Let us introduce ourselves... 

 

 
Mona Witman, M.Ed., Career Counselor

Mona Witman is one of the career counselors who works with clients to explore career paths. Mona has a masters degree in career counseling from Columbia University and has spent more than 20 years working in the program with women who need to get back to work. 

 

 
Maureen Haggerty, M.A. Career Counselor

Maureen assists individuals in clarifying and developing their goals and career plans. Her higher education experience has been in career counseling and academic advisement at Caldwell College and Sussex County Community College. Maureen’s graduate degree is in Guidance/Student Personnel Services; she is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Career Counselor.

 

 
Michele Coneys, Job Placement Counselor
 

Utilizing a background in human resources and career services, Michele Coneys facilitates a Job Club that advises women on interviewing, networking, and salary negotiating skills.  As a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), she also helps our clients work to develop and improve their resumes and cover letters.  Michele contributes to the quarterly newsletter, as well as researches and fosters relationships with companies in the area.    

 

 
Gladys Licker, Administrative Assistant
  

Gladys Licker is our first point of contact, answering the phone and giving good direction to those who call with questions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Gladys has been helping women in this program for more than 10 years and handles the scheduling for those in need of the program's services. 

 

 
Betty Squire, Administrative Assistant
  

Betty is our first point of contact and answers the phones on Thursday and Fridays and provides much helpful information. She can schedule you for a variety of services. Betty also coordinates our newsletter production volunteer donations to the program.
