CAREER SERVICES FOR STUDENTS


Employment Counseling

Individual counseling is available, by appointment, to assist current students and recent graduates as they address individual employment concerns such as job search techniques, and interviewing skills. Stop by the office in Cohen Hall, B236 to make an appointment or call 973-328-5245.

Resume Critiquing

Resume critiquing services are provided to students and alumni. Drop off your resume in the Office of Career Services in Cohen Hall, B236 and indicate whether you will pick it up or if it should be returned to you by mail. Please allow 48 hours for the review. A publication to assist you in creating your resume, The Resume, is available free of charge on-line or in the Office of Career Services. Computers and printers for creating a resume are available in the Learning Resource Center Computer Lab.


Workshops 

Career Week

Focus on career choice and opportunities through a variety of curriculum-specific programs and career seminars. Highlights have included hands-on workshops, field trips, classroom presentations, tours, graduate speakers, a drama conference and a criminal justice fair.  Held annually in November.  View 2005 Schedule
