Career Services for Students

The Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education staff provides on-going job search support and guidance to CCM students through a variety of programs and services.
 
  • Job Search Assistance
    Assistance is available to students as they address individual employment issues such as locating a job, resume writing, job search skills, and interviewing techniques. 
     
  • Job Listings
    Positions posted by area employers are made available on-line to CCM students through this site.
     
  • Optimal Resume and Optimal Interview
    A web-based system to help you create your resume and practice your interviewing skills sponsored by the Office of Career Services.  Access code for students:  earth
     
  • Employment Resources and Career Research Tools
    A collection of web research tools and job listings sites. 
      
  • Cooperative Education / Internship Program 
    A learning approach that combines academic studies with a work experience related to your major.  Students who are matriculated in majors offering co-op or internships may be eligible.
     
  • Student Aide / Work Study Program 
    A limited number of on-campus student jobs become available each semester.  Students enrolled at CCM at least half time (6 credits) are eligible to apply.
     
  • F-1 Visa Students:  Optional Practical Training (OPT)
    Clear and concise information from the US Citizenship and Immigration Service about working in the US while attending college on an F-1 Visa.
     
  • Employment Presentations and Programs
    Upcoming programs will be advertised on this website.
