Login Instructions

The proper username and password are necessary in order to login to WebCT. Please be sure to read the instructions below and view the examples. This process differs from that used for WebAdvisor and Registration.
Please remember, login is not available until the first day of class.
 
 USERNAME
The username format for Blackboard is lastname.firstname (all lower case letters, without hyphens, or punctutation). Your name should match what appears on your student ID, bill, or schedule.
Usernames cannot be longer than 17 characters. If your name is longer than the number of characters allowed, simply use your last name (up to 11 characters) plus the period (.) and as much of your first name as you can fit for a total of 17 characters.
FOR EXAMPLE:
John Smith = smith.john
Jane O'Reilly = oreilly.jane
Thomas DeRosa = derosa.thomas
James Starner-Brown = starnerbrown.james
John Smithwellington = smithwellin.john
Cherisamarie Smith = smith.cherisamari
Cherisamarie Smithwellington = smithwellin.cheri
 
PASSWORD
The password format for Blackboard is: the last 4 digits of your STUDENT ID which can be found on your student ID, bill or schedule. DO NOT USE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!
FOR EXAMPLE:   
ID# 001111 = 1111
ID# 110011 = 0011
ID# 011100 = 1100
